I had someone whisper me in GToB a few months ago with basically the same message: "how much did I just trade you?". Since I hadn't completed any trades with this person I simply said so.
Smelled like someone trying to scam and failing miserably!

Anyway.. i havent seen a double of me yet.... In any game to that matter.. Now ive never known any 1 which had the same scam done to them.... Never heard of a scamm like this before Guru... maybe because i am a trade.. and no trading back person when it comes toimaginary pixels....In any case hope there wont be any clones of any 1 running around.. wether you like it orn not people remmeber certain names and reputation big or small can spread...

I just cant believe that there are people wasting their time doing this. I haven't experienced it yet, but I feel the need to go try.

QFT. This has got to be the stupidest scam attempt ever. I mean, how obvious is this!? trading your own secondary account for a while, just to get one of those idiots ask you: "How much did I just trade you?" seems like a fun thing to do all of a sudden when going afk. "Stupid Scammer fishing" :P

Me: "Oh boy! You think 50g for a brown dye was too much!?!? Oh gods! The horror!" *lols*
or: "Dude, I just traded my storage account, not you. Pityfull scam attempt. consider yourself reported."
or: "Great story bro!"
or: "Oh, okay, just give me back my Armbrace and I'll pay you back your 50k"

Anyone know some better clever responses?

Yeah, that's clever.

Anyways, if people keep doing it, it's because they are either being deceived to believe so by other scammers so they try it too, or because it actually worked before.
